Anotace: A horror fantasy - came to me once while I was having a bath.
Another World I: Wed (by Jan Elgroth Talvinen)
I saw a grining faceless head
Watching my body in my sleep,
I didn't know if I were dead
Or to awake I could believe.
It didn't speak, it didn't move,
It just stared disturbingly,
Had no eyes, still killed by sight,
At least the terror was killing me.
Long time passed, it flew aloft,
Disappeared in highest spheres.
This new acquaintance that I got -
The patron of my darkest fears.
The scenery switched - a bath I guessed,
Filled with saliva and blood
A virgin lay amid the mess
Smiling as if she was glad.
Her throat was cut, her eyes scratched wide,
Her scalp torn off, her arms lay still,
Not far away something did hide -
A creature, beast of mind so ill...
It peeked from in behind a screen
Covered in guts with rotting looks -
Liver, brains and slimy spleen
- Human skins above on hooks.
Then it came out, oh what a dread,
No legs, four arms, and crawled to me.
In what mischief was this thing bred,
What intent to this could be?
Six mouths it had, four tongues in each,
I felt a rushing evil gust,
It stretched one arm and tried to reach
The poor girl's face – What twisted lust!
Close it came, looked in my face
Clicking tongues and turning round,
I noticed then – Oh, what disgrace -
The beast was clad in wedding gown!
... ... ...
All is dark now, I hear a voice,
Says more will come to keep my joy.
I realize there is no choice,
All I am is someone's toy...
