Why are you so far away?
I´m standing here, looking above.
There´re so many things I want to say
but you can´t hear me, my love.

On the blue sky I see your face,
shining right next to the sun.
I start running, longing to win the race
to get to you till you´ll be gone.

My eyes burn, your face´s fading,
´cause I can´t fly even though I tried.
Down on my knees, green grass waning,

stand up, wiping my tears.
I´m longing for your love, for your kiss,
for your touch, your gentle squeeze.

Suddenly I see you coming to me,
an angel in black with your eyes
and his smile is really soothing,
I feel a touch of his hands on my arms.

He is you and I know it for sure
when I touch his bearded cheek.
„I was sent here for you to cure,“
with your voice he starts to speak.

My heart´s beating fast, my soul´s singing,
I feel the wings growing on my back.
It looks like a new beginning,
we´re flying, my arms around his neck.

Don´t know where we´re flying and I don´t want to know,
once in his arms everything seems to be fair.
Wherever he leads me, I just want to go.
I look in his eyes, see the wind in his hair.
