I promised myself that I'd never leave my herd
but in the Sargasso
I smelled salinity of the nearest depth

Was it worth it? It's hard to say
Because I can't take it back
I underwent some changes
Even my scales turned into black

I was naked looking for shelters
but the Gulf stream
changed almost all sea levels

I took a look into - into the deep
I was annoyed to live in the shallows, right here
I took a look into the deep
Stuck on repeat
but I'd do anything to swim in the crystal clear
Take me back from the deep
