I think I remember
Our Japanese garden
Back then, our beloved island
Our old sakura trees
Right in front of our door
And the west-northern breeze
Blowing your hair
When you were laughing.
I used to think
We've never really had
Our chance to properly
Be together and grow old
By each other's side
But knowing we did
Somehow makes me happy.
You know, right now
I really do miss
Our beautiful garden
And each spring and autumn
When we used to sit outside
In the peaceful solitude
Of yet another perfect evening.
Well, who knows
Maybe some day
We shall see
Our lovely sakura trees
And feel the first spring breeze
Again.
